In the background of the cooperation of Wuhan University of Technology and Kai Ling CO.,LTD in Zhejiang, which is a subject "Research and design a new type electric vehicle", so the item group carries through designing an EV name "Subminiature Reversed Three Wheels EV (SRTWEV)". The article first introduced now the automobile development faces the question, the development miniature electric car regarding questions and so on environmental protection and energy conservation has the very big superiority, and technical factor's and so on battery and electrical network transformation restrictions are few, is the automobile from the tool to the taking status and the symbol again to transportation vehicle's return, moreover researches and develops the miniature three round electric automobile to have the very big practical significance but actually.The configuration of SRTWEV is the first two wheels and latter one wheel, the front axle uses the independent double arm type suspension system, rack and pinion steering system, the rear axle of car uses a independent arm type suspension system, uses the electrical machinery - belt pulley driving system. The figure design reflected that the Chinese element is its overall request. In my opinion, it will be common people's ideal choice, but our country market is still blank, and needs the national policy the support.Designed the steering system of the SRTWEV, the article discussed the first to the performance requirements of the Department of Ackermann and to the characteristics of the structure and characteristics of various Redirector. Finally, the choice of suspension and steering of the match relations and positioning parameters of the front-wheel steering performance on the impact of front-wheel positioning parameters determine the initial value; on the movement of the steering wheels on the mathematical analysis and transmission to the layout projects to identify the drive mechanism layout of SRTWEV.Through to the integral type steering trapezium organization and the separation type steering trapezium organization's comparison, the research discovered that four wheeler's steering trapezium design method also suits the SRTWEV steering trapezium design. According to the mainly hard points' coordinate of three-dimensional body of front suspension and steering system, some department's names and joint points, to establish ADAMS_CAR model, dual-Arm front suspension and steering system model. We Used ADAMS_CAR module, to analysis steering system, and outer Ackermann angle, and used suspension "pull" to analysis the steering wheel torque and scrub radius, and to simulate the steering tie rod inner whether doable. Through simulation, we can get some data curve, and think the model that designed is meeting the basic requirements, and provide an optimization for design the part. Finally, the vehicle is set up and tested. After the experiment, the steering system of SRTWEV satisfies the vehicles' performance require, moreover, SRTWEV adapts the new energy electric car's one kind of brand-new vehicle type, and has the good market prospect.
