Low-pylon cable-stayed Bridge has the collectivity characteristic of low tower, firm girder and cable centralized.It belongs to high hypo Statically Indeterminacy.Because of its advantageous structural function and favorable economical index,more and more developmental potential is showing.Its structure undertakes most load effect by main girder in bending and in shear,at the same time, it enforces stayed cables stiffening main beam and sharing load effect.Low-pylon Cable-stayed Bridge is rapidly developed after its birth,and it fills in the blank of Continuous Bridge and Cable-stayed Bridge.In the recent years,Low-pylon Cable-stayed Bridge is rapidly developed in our country.According to present research status,taking Xijiang grand bridge across the outer ring between Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Zhujiang delta economic zone project as researching background,this article establish MIDAS Civil structure models,analysis the structure load characteristics under the effect of dead weight and live loads.By the impact of the length of non-cable area at side bearing and pylon foot on internal force,analysis the associated deformation and influence.By synchrotron and symmetry changing tower height,analysis mechanical variation and optimal method.This article obtains such research results:1.Under dead and live loads,static characteristics display different variations. Maximum of Deflection appearance at mid-span.Maximum of combination pressure stress and bending moment appearance at the root of middle pylon.2.Not changing other parameters,only with static analysis,Non-cable area of pylons should be 0.15~0.4 of main span length when it changes at near pylon and should be 0.3~0.45 of main span length when it changes at near beam end.3.Not changing other parameters,only with static analysis,height of pylons should be designed between 0.11~0.14 of main span length.By research of this article,a reference will be found for homologous bridges.
