In order to satisfy building demand, botom big spaces shear wall structure has been used in our country since 70' twenty centuries. Transfer storey structure has developed quickly, aiming at complicated shape, various methods and Advantaged structure press, Transfer storey structure has already been a trend of modern tall building structure.Generally speaking,when vertical structure axis system of tall building' s bottom storey has differed much from the top storey, or the distance of vertical structure system of bottom storey has been enlarged or top and bottom structure axis has displaced, we should set transfer storey at the transferred storey. Now the widely used transfer storey is girder transfer storey. The transfer beam in the girder transfer storey load several storey of columns or shear walls which stand on it. So, the section of transfer beam is ineluctabilitly big enough. Commonly, transfer beams are deep beams or short beams.Research indicate that, the top and bottom members affect transfer beam when resist load. The main content of this paper is analysing this affection, and get some methods to improve the transfer beam resisting load , so to minish the dimension of section for transfer beam. The main contents and productions are listed bellow:1.The first section of this paper analyse the transfer beam supporting columns in girder transfer storey. The performances of transfer beam when resisting load are effected by the section changes of bottom supporting column,the top column,the top beam,top edge column,top interim column and transfer beam. Though analysis, some methods are gained to improve the behavior of transfer beam.2.The second section of this paper analyse the structure of shear walls supported by frame under vertical external loads. Analysis indicate that, the transfer beams work together with shear walls to resist load. When the thickness of shear walls or the section of transfer beam are change, the corperation will change also. In the end of this section, some influencing factors for this corperation are gained.3. The last part of this paper, some calculational methods for transfer beam are brought forward. Though comparison,two better methods are gained.
