| This paper focuses on the research of the theories of the Interior Design Criticism, and based on these theories analyzes and accesses the Interior Design Criticism's application currently in China. The Interior Design Criticism is a complex activity of analysis and evaluation. The creative act of criticism takes full advantage of the theories of Interior Design Criticism. The target of the Interior Design Criticism includes every respect of the interior design. Concretely speaking it is mainly comprised of the theories of the interior design, the history of the interior design, interior designers, interior design works, creating and applying process of the interior design, along with the society and the interior design'perceiving and evaluation to different sorts of people, etc. This paper mainly adopts the theories of the Ontology, the Semiology, the Axiology and the Methodology. It not only analyzes and demonstrates the essence of the interior design criticism from different perspectives, but it also illustrates how to create, express, and transmit the interior design criticism. Moreover, this paper clearly shows the value of the interior design criticism and the patterns and methods of the interior design criticism. Accordingly the paper demonstrates the nature, the history, the form, the function, the meaning and the value of the interior design. By the end, the author analyzes and accesses the specific situation of the application of the interior design criticism in China currently according to the theories in this paper. The theory research and practical application of the interior design criticism which not only contributes to perfect the theory system of the interior design and guides the act of the interior design, but it improves the interior design education and develops the interior designer'abilities as well. What's more important, it can provide the Chinese interior design industry with standards and then make sure a rapidly and healthy development to it.
