| Automobile, acts as the modem vehicle, brings a great deal of convenience to our daily life, at the same time, it also exposes us to some danger. Every year the number of victims in car accidents precedes that of local war of the world. Traffic accident not only causes enormous economic losing, but also many social problems, such as the increasing of disabled people and family misfortune. From this point of view, traffic accident has become one of the most severe social effects.In this thesis. To solve the problem that LandWind off-road vehicle's crashworthiness,Through cleaning up geometry ,extracting midsurface, dividing into grids, controling quality of the elements, setting up the analysis model of the vehicle's frame by taking shell unit as basic unit by using HyperWorks software. Bending stiffness and torsional stiffness of the frame was analyzed base on this finite element modal, and carried on the computation of the stiffness of frame on static load and the displacement clout chart. Then we set up the finite element modal and had the simulation in 40% offset crash performance with CAE method. Through comparative analysis the result between CAE and Experimental is same; we can know this method of simulation of vehicle in crash performance by CAE is correct. Base on the CAE simulation result, we research this frame's fault of structure on the crash safety, and several improvement of Vehicle's frame were made on the structure of the former design, which improved the energy absorbing ability of frame, and made greatly improved in vehicle's crashworthiness. The above the theories and methods are suitable for the design and research of similar vehicle, at the same time it can help to reduce the Experimental of product and the cycle time of design. So It had very important Significance in the Design Optimization of crashworthiness on the vehicle's frame.
