Research On Bus Frame Side Crash Simulation And Crashworthiness Analysis

The background of the automobile crash, the important of car crash safety and the car crash status of computer simulation were analyzed in this paper. Based on this, the necessity and importance of bus frame side crash were analyzed and this paper research content was established.The simulation of automobile collision is a question of Materials Science, Mechanics, Mathematics, and other disciplines. So the automotive crash simulation theory's study is the basis of the automotive crash analysis. Lagrange method is a good method in solid collision. The boundary conditions, materials structure and the contacts slip were conveniently solved in this method.On the basis of the crash theory, the simulation and realization methods were discussed. The simulation platform of bus frame side crash was established. Vehicle structural finite element model is an important basis of the collision simulation. The precision and accuracy of collision simulation results are related with not only the method of calculation, but also the precision of finite element model. Based on the bus body structure characteristics and crash simulation requirements, in order to taking into account the balance between efficiency and accuracy of simulation, the cell types, material model, the time step control and the choice of method of contact collision problem are discussed respectively. After the bus finite element model is established, taking a typical bus side impact safety simulation as an example, the bus-bus and bus-lorry side impact simulation are simulated respectively.After the both cases of bus side crash simulation analysis, the bus body frame's movement, body frame's deformation, passenger's living space, crashing acceleration and energy were analyzed and compared both in the two crash simulation. Finally, according to the bus frame crash safety performance, the measure of increasing bus body frame side crash safety performance The research results of this paper is a good reference to the bus body frame side crash safety performance's improvement of company and bus side cash safety rule of law's regulation, so as to raising the competitiveness of domestic bus industry.
