With the development of industry, the production of oil has not met the need of community. Coal-bed methane is an important type of non-conventional natural gas, and it is very rich, and is the natural formation of a clean new energy. So, it has a large prospect to use coal-bed methane as fuel engine.China's research and development of gas engine started late, and developed slowly, and have a large distance with the foreign. Now the research on the coal-bed methane engine is still in the primordial stage.This paper briefly describes how the diesel engine converted into coal-bed methane engine and the introduction of the matters related to the attention of the pilot and the use of the sensors. Then the coal bed methane engine intake system for air-fuel ratio control of Thrice Design. with the method of inner and outer design integral analyses, the effect of the clear factors on the characteristic and stability of the product has been studied, through which the quality losing function has been established, and the tolerance of the clear factors have been made sure.
