On the basis of the work of our predecessors and the existing convertional thermal balance analysis method, this paper proposed a mathematic model for turbine heat recovery system, established generic matrix equation in MATLAB programming for the calculation of the main turbine and the actual thermal system. This model analysis the impact of heater temperature difference and extraction pressure loss to the Heat economy of thermal units, and is suitable for programming and program analysis. Use C language of the man-machine interface, MATLAB languages of the thermal economic calculation procedures, C language calling MATLAB procedures to establish the heat recovery regenerative system simulation analysis system. Finally, use a typical 600MW Unit as an example to test the validity and accuracy of MATLAB program. Example shows that: the operation of the software is feasible and calculated results are consistent with the conventional thermal balance analysis method. The software has the advantage of universal, intelligent, accurate and adapt to computer analysis.
