With the development of power system and the increase of voltage level, electromagnetic interference has becoming a severe problem in substations. Based on the finite element software ANSYS, the electromagnetic field around the shield cable were analyzed and the inductance and capacitance matrices of the multiconductor transmission lines were acquired. In this paper a new method was advanced for the expression of transmission-line parameters of the cable with shielding above ground, creating the unifying model include core wires, shielding layer and the ground. With the parameters get before, the Crosstalk between shielding layer and core wires were analyzed by Finite difference time domain method (FDTD). Some experiments and simulated results have been done to research the induced current on the transmission line which excited by an incident electromagnetic field which proved the correctness and validity of this method.
