With the more extensive application of arc-suppression coil (ASC) in the distribution network, by deeply analyzing the principle of neutral resonance grounding system, this paper indicates the disadvantage of the traditional ASC in compensation, proposes a new active and full compensation ASC. The structure and operating principle of the new ASC is expounded, followed by the illumination of arc-suppression control method and the feasibility test on the simulation platform.Among the impact of the turning accuracy and compensation effect of the new ASC, the key point is detection of the grounding current's ingredient. This paper presents a new fuzzy variable step-size adaptive algorithm, and simulation results show the real-time characteristic and superiority of the method.On the basis of theoretical study and simulation analysis, the arc-suppression control procedures including new current detection algorithm embedded in DSP are exploited, and the low voltage physical model is designed. Both the digital simulation and physical experiment verifies the feasibility and good compensation effect of the new arc-suppression technology.This research project belongs to Beijing Natural Science Foundation, the number is 3062018.
