6~35kV electricity net controlling system has been developed under fast speed recently, the current in most single-phase grounding systems will exceed 10A, or even 50A. It is not fitted if only using the way of neutral contact non-grounding simply. On the base of summarizing the experiments of many years in the way of neutral contact grounding in our country, the regulation about neutral contact grounding has been mended and added in the electric standard DL/620-1997 which was made by Electric Power Department- "alternating electric device voltage exceeding protection and insulation fitting" . It is prescribed that the mode of arc suppression coil must be used if the fault current through capacitance exceeds 30A on the condition of single-phase grounding in 10. 5kV system. Nowadays, the need of the development in electric power system can not be fulfilled if using the old arc suppression coil. Based on the problem of traditional arc suppression coil compensated system and the localization in man tuning, it is very necessary that studying an automatic tuning and arc suppression system to make arc suppression coil follow the current in compensated capacitance.The arc suppression coil grounding manner of the distribution system is vital to the quality and reliability of the power supply, and it increases the security of the circulating network. By knowing the development and the present situation of the foreign and internal distribution network's grounding manners. This paper presents a auto-track compensating controlling device which not only can track but also compensate the changing capacitance current when the power system happens single-phase-to-earth fault.
