Study Of State Estimation Based On PMU

The phasor measurement technology based on GPS is introduced in this paper,which functions to state estimation is focused . It is difficult to use PMU current phasor measurements,especially the current phase measurements in the nonlinear state estimation directly.The paper presents new modes to utilize current phasor measurements,then PMU current phasor measurements can be utilized efficiently in the state estimation.The paper presents a double state estimation model for the first time,the model can improve the state estimation equations'convergence speed and estimation precision simultaneously by PMU measurements.The effectiveness of the proposed model is illustrated with numerical simulation using IEEE 30 nodes System.
