Subway station is densely populated concourse, once a fire occurs, it will cause disastrous casualty, and the smoke is the important causation result in casualty.The article analyzed the smoke flow regularity and the method of smoke control in subway platform fire theoretically.By establishing reduced scale numerical model, using smoke-control model of upper air supply and smoke-exhaust model of under smoke discharge to analyze smoke flow regularity under different condition when there is a platform fire. Especially analyzing the airflow velocity in staircase mouse reflected by the smoke barrier and sprinklers which lies in the stairs'access between platform and concourse. The conclusion indicated that the airflow velocity, the temperature and CO concentration all reduced when adding smoke barrier and sprinklers, it is helpful to the evacuation of personnel. But they also reduced the height of smoke layer that bring adverse effect to the evacuation. Compared, the advantage is bigger than the shortcoming. Numerical models which have same sizes in subway station are established based on different structural form of subway platform. Such as the Hong hu li station is two layer side-type platforms, and the Nan lou station is two layer island-type platform. Here we use FDS to simulate. When the subway platform has fire, only depends on increases air quantity of fan to control the haze required high machine performance, moreover the fund investment is also very big. This article used the method of increasing smoke barrier and sprinklers in the staircase mouth to control the smoke so that the air quantity of fan decreased. Therefore, when there is train fire and baggage fire, the best control method of smoke under different condition can be obtained.By carrying through field experiment in reduced scale subway model, we can obtain certain parameters such as air quantity of fan, the velocity in ventilation outlet, the distribution of airflow velocity in the staircase mouse and so on. Carrying on hot smoke experiment in this model, analyzing smoke flow regularity and smoke control, the result proved the rationality of the model. It provided certain basis for the future experiments.
