Contactless energy transmission technique is a novel power transfer method, which utilizes the electromagnetic coupling theory to achieve contactless power transfer effectively and safely. Therefore this technique is widely used in many applications such as public transport systems, aviation and space systems, robots, medical plants, lighting, compact electronic devices, mine and water applications.Firstly, the main operation principle, research status and development trends are introduced in this paper. The equivalent circuit model of the transformer is introduced and the circuit impedance is analyzed based on the structure of the system.The characteristics of the full bridge series parallel and series-parallel resonant converters with the separate transformer are analyzed and the suitable device parameters are selected. The resonant frequency, compensation capacitor under resonant frequency and the constraint conditions to achieve ZVS control are discussed. The full bridge series resonant converter is analyzed by circuit simulation.Finally ,TMS32OF2812 DSP is used to design the hardware circuit of primary converter in contactless energy transmission system. A hardware framework of control system is given and the main circuit, the DSP control circuit, PWM control and protection circuit and switch tube drive & protection circuit are analyzed in detail.
