The trational power transmission transfers enery through the wires, there iselectrical connection between the power supply system. In the process of wire harnessconnection due to friction and sliding wear, it’s prone to the risk of high-voltage electricshock and spark, affecting the safety and reliability of electrical equipment.Contactless power transmission system makes use of electromagnetic inductionprinciple to achieve the safe and effective transmission of electricity, it has a wide rangeof applications in transportation, oil exploration, gas production, robotics, aerospace andbiomedical etc., it is a new power transmission technology. Contactless transformer is acore part of the contactless power transmission system, by the method of thecapacitance compensation, the transmission performance of the system can be improvedeffectively.First of all, the article introduces contactless power transmission technology andresearch status, describing the development of contactless power transmissiontechnology in both directions; Then the key technologies of contactless powertransmission system, including system configuration, power compensation technology,resonant inverter technology and switching power supply technology are described;Next the physical structure, the mutual inductance model, capacitor compensationmethods and load output power of contactless transformer are analysed; Once againusing the finite element simulation to analyze the transmission performance ofcontactless transformer, and high frequency inverter circuit is simulated; Finally, thedesign programs of contactless charger is given.The innovation of this paper: Using finite element simulation to numericalcalculation,analyzing how do the changes of compensation capacitance, the air gap andthe frequency affect the transmission performance of contactless transformer, whilegiving a full-bridge series resonant inverter circuit topology.
