the thermal can cause concrete split, chap and decreased the strength of reinforcing steel bar. When the concrete swing in with glass-fiber, the high tensile strength of glass-fiber can increase the compressive strength and bending strength of concrete. It's fire-resistant property can decrease the crevice, decrease the coefficient of thermal-conductivity, and avoid split, protect reinforcing steel bar.This experiment is to study the parameters of the glass-fiber content and the glass-fiber length that can improve the compressive strength and bending strength of concrete best.The result show that, after 440oC and 500 oC, the attenuation in strength of glass-fiber reinforced concrete under 10%. So the glass-fiber can help concrete to resist the attenuation in strength. after 580 oC and 800 oC, the attenuation in strength of glass-fiber reinforced concrete increase quickly, but the strength is still higher than common concrete. after 1000 oC, although the attenuation in strength of glass-fiber reinforced concrete is still lower than common concrete, but nearly identical. According to the attenuation in strength, the more content of glass-fiber, the less attenuation in strength. And in the same content of glass-fiber, according to the attenuation in strength of the glass-fiber reinforced concrete, the longer one less than the short one. But when too much glass-fiber is put into concrete, the compressive strength will decrease.
