Since the late of 1970s, Geosynthetics have been applied to all kinds of projects of reinforced soil gradually, for instance retaining wall, abrupt slope, embankment project, etc…In reinforced soil projects of the geosynthetics, utilize resisting the characteristic of pulling of geosynthetics, by the effect of friction and obstruction between geosynthetics and the soil body. Changing the distribution of the stress and displacement field within the reinforced soil, and making the intensity and stability of the soil improve. So the interface characteristics of the geosynthetics and soil determines the interior stability of the reinforced soil project directly, and the effect of friction and obstruction between geosynthetics and the soil body becomes a key factor of influence effect of reinforcement.Finding out the key influence factor of the interface characteristic of the geosynthetics and soil by analyzing their reinforcement mechanism, we can use the pull-out test machine large-scaly and interface friction machine large-scaly, which have been developed by ourselves, to study the interface characteristic of the geosynthetics of different specifications under the different situations of soil property. Analyzing the effect of reinforcement of different soil, which have different original conditions.Besides, for study the effect of reinforcement ulteriorly, this paper use the nonlinear finite element method to analyses the stresses field and displacements field of geosynthetics reinforcement embankment, which is builded on the soft groundsoil. Duncan-Chang nonlinear numerical model and Goodman interface elements are used in the nonlinear finite element program.The paper analyses the effect of the stresses field and displacements field because of reinforcement on different instances, we can find the effect of reinforcement when we reinforce the embankment in different place or different layers geosynthetics. At the same time, we analyses the sensitivity of effect of reinforcement for different soil parameter, and put forward the mostly soil index. So, in a project, we can make right design for some given soil.
