Study Of Bucket Foundation In Soft Soil Ground Of Road

The soft soil is characteristic by relaxtion,the large hole ratio,the high natural water content, the high compressibility, the low intensity, the small permeability and the sensitive configuration. Therefore, soft base processing is a question which the worker must face inevitably. This paper introduced several common method of soft soil ground processing ascensively in view of our country soft clay ground of beach Haiti area.And in this foundation, it proposed one new method- bucket foundation. Through the value simulation, the theoretical analysis and the computation, it have studied the mutual function of the bucke and the earth thoroughly and proposed supporting capacity formula about the single bucket and and the compound groung .Firstly, this paper introduced several common method of soft soil ground processing ascensively, summarized their project characteristic and the reinforcement method, discussed the question which soft soil ground processing faces;Secondly, this paper established model of bucket foundation by using the finite element software PLAXIS to carry on the value simulation by use of finite element thought.By the analysis of characteristic and the work mechanism of bucket foundation,we know that the ground supporting capacity increases along with the bucket's length and the bucket's diameter increasing under the static load.It proposed the formula about the single bucket's supporting capacity P_{u ,k} and the compound ground'slimit supporting capacit P_cf.Finally,this paper compared with bucket foundation and other several method about efficiency under the same geology and load condition. We can know that the cost of bucket foundation is higher 11.55% than the pile of spurting and lower than the CFG pile and the lime pile. And bucket foundation may prefabricate,have large supporting capacity and short time limit for a project,so its economic efficiency is remarkable.This paper has conducted the thorough research and the massive computation to the feasibility of bucket foundation reinforcingt soft soil ground,and believes firmly that this method has certain practical value.
