The state of transient flowing air in the inlet-internal cylinder system of gasoline engine is very complexity. So far, some of the essential law of air flowing haven't been apprehended fully. However, the air amount entering into the gas cylinder during the intake process and swirl intensity of air have great influence on the performance and exhaust emission of the gasoline engineCFD(computational fluid dynamics) three-dimensional numerical simulation is an important method to study the state of transient flowing air in the intake process of gasoline engine. According to its calculation methods and computer technology, mass parameters information, which can not be achieved through conventional methods, can be obtained. Therefore, we will study on the flow field in the internal of gasoline engine by CFD method in this subject.Based on K157FM motorcycle engine (Qingqi Group, China) for the study, CFD three-dimensional numerical calculation of the gas flow characteristics of inlet -cylinder system in its intake process was taken up, and the velocity of different crank angle, pressure, the distribution of turbulence energy were obtained, which can offer reference and theory guidance to the improving of the related structure and design remanufacturing.First, establish mathematic model according to the subject investigated and make physical model of flowing field using CATIA that is a three-dimensional soft of France Dassault system company. Then manage the established model using GAMBIT preprocessor, and calculate the compartmentalization of the grid and export the logical mesh profile using CFD. In the end, import the mesh profile into the FLUENT software in CFD, set the related technical parameters, set and define the motion law of the intake valve and piston using the dynamic mesh technique, and ultimately complete the calculation of the problem studied.Visual images obtained by the post-processing of the calculation results incarnated the intrinsic significance of the data, and carried out theoretical analysis of the distribution of the pressure, velocity and turbulent kinetic energy field, so that a theoretical basis for the products design and improving and an important practical value in academic and engineering fields were provided.
