The wire race ball bearing is mostly applied in three-axes simulation test turntable. Possessed more light mass, much less inertia, small size in axes direction, big size in radial direction, higher angular rigidity, frequently been of use in shafting of big radius. In the interest of adapting big size in radial direction, higher precision, higher angular rigidity, less moment of inertia, higher dynamic capability in the three-axes simulation test turntable, researching the angular rigidity of the wire race ball bearings in axes direction, the invalidation of bearing because of the wear and the contact fatigue of the wire race and the contact stress in work are very necessary.This paper first conducts the research to the angular rigidity in axes direction and the critical unload condition of the wire race ball bearings in the premise of Hertz contact theories, and give study of the relations of compressing distance with the angular rigidity in axes direction and the critical unload condition.The invalidation of the wire race ball bearings generally owing to the wear and the fatigue of the wire races, consequently, research the micro-slippage occurred in contact patch between wire race and ball, and then estimate the wear rate based on the micro-slippage according as the sticking wear theories, consider of the shear strain's important influence to contact fatigue, a study was conducted to the most static shearing strength and the most dynamic shearing strength under the contact surface of the wire race.This thesis research two kinds of the wire race ball bearings in each analysis, one bearings use steel balls and the other bearings use ceramic balls, and make comparisons regarding each analysis result between all steel bearings using steel balls and hybrid bearings using ceramic balls, the analysis results have good guiding sense to the actual engineering design and the adjustment.The finite element method was used to set up an exactly model of the wire race ball bearing using steel balls to analyze the angular rigidity in axes direction and the static shearing strength synchronously with the academic researches. In order to obtain more precise results, this thesis set up static submodel used in the study of the static shearing strength. At last, make comparisons between the results of finite element method and the results of academic.
