With the rapid development of China's expressway, people started to pay attention to the landscape design of tunnel portal. China does not lack the tunnel landscape of engineering practice, but also in foreign countries, this study has been a certain development on the landscape of highway landscape, including landscape of tunnel portal. Despite this, but As China's theoretical research has just started so the engineering practice lacks system guiding theory and has certain blindness. This study has started in this context. The thesis aims to create a harmony with the natural environment of the modern portals and it will provide theoretical support and reference to the ascendant landscape practice of the tunnel portal in China's expressway.Firstly, the author has established a method analyzing scene space.The author applies the rich degree of scenery in scene space to the landscape design of the tunnel portal. Author: if the scenery is rich the design of the portals should be weakened; if the scenery is monotonous, strengthened.Landscape design of the tunnel portal aim to eliminate driver's driving fatigue and change fatigue to appreciating. In general, monotonous scenery would produce visual fatigue for drivers. The portal strengthened can become excited points in driving. It weakened the visual fatigue and avoid the occurrence of the accident. Instead, the design of portals should be weakened.Secondly, The author established a dynamic visual model and make it as a evaluation method of space scenery.The model includes scope of vision of drivers, ken grade according to different definition of driver's mind, etc.. Within the scope of the vision, the mountain scenery and the outline of the mountain are constantly changing in move state. Such changes affect the driver's mental and proposes design requirements. So the portals shoud be designed with the environment. According to the model the ken grade can be determined. And more, we can determine the degree of design or level of detail in the landscape design of the tunnel portal. As model is intuitive, we can also use it to improve the efficiency of landscape analysis and design.Thirdly, the serialized methods of component design about the portals was established.In traditional End-wall style and modern Outstanding style, the auther presents four series: Tube series, Wing series, Shelf series and Others series, and points the scope of the portals. In addition, through decomposition and the combination of the portal-members, a variety of styles is produced.Dynamic visual model, the study of the actual project of highway tunnels and other other resultsin the dissertation can be directly applied to the portal landscape design. Thery have important practical value.
