With the great development of road transportation industry in china,the volume of motor vehicles keeps rising,which makes traffic accidents being a major threat to people's lives.And one main reason is speeding.Therefore,a reasonable speed limit value turns out to be effective to control speed,which is of great significance to ensure traffic safety and from the point of view to reduce costs.At present,the researches on rationality of speed limit both home and abroad are mainly utilization of the prediction model construction,only a few related to using driver simulators. This thesis selected the latter one,and defined it as "safety speed evaluation",sets a tentative study in this aspect.A system of safety speed evaluation indexes was set up by many relevant literature and auxiliary analysis of questionnaire,which is about driving characters though FTA.This system is revised and retrenched using expert investigation method, including the operating speed differences between adjacent spots,the differences between operating speed and the value of speed limit,the distance of driving course deviating from the center line of the road,the incremental distance of driving course deviating from the center line of the road between adjacent spots,heart rate fluctuation value,the incremental heart rate between adjacent spots,cumulative number of violation and the average number of violation.On the basis of driving simulator and biofeedback equipment,the thesis designs experiment schemes for simulator hardware,visual scene,speed and biofeedback equipment calibration,in order to adjust the hardware and software facilities of the safety speed evaluation experiment.Using the orthogonal experiment design,the experiment selects 35 sample spots of the road for driving,collects and analyzes the average,variance,standard deviation, coefficient of standard deviation,range,skewness and kurtosis of 360 groups of data points(40×9×35=12 600)about retrenched evaluation indexes.Determine the differences between operating speed and the value of speed limit,the distance of driving course deviating from the center line of the road,heart rate fluctuation value, cumulative number of violation as final fuzzy evaluation indexes.According to the statistical characteristics of effective experiment data,the thesis constructs membership functions of indexes by means of improved fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The evaluation result is satisfactory,establish a kind of experiment foundation for rationality evaluation and value establishment of speed limit.The thesis sums up the workflow and technical route chart of safety speed evaluation,which provide a basis for popularization of road safety audit and process standardization of traffic experiment in China.
