So the main research of this article is to evaluate the safety of the road alignment break away from the accident data.At first, this text has worked out the road alignment analyze software using the Visual Basic language, this software can analysis the road alignment parameters in text and in graph on the basis of road driving simulator, and can analysis the road alignment parameters in real-time combine with the road driving simulator, then it can use these alignment parameters to calculate out some road alignment indexes which correlated with road safety, so can use the variation tendency of these road alignment indexes to simply evaluate the safety of the road alignment.The other main research contents of this subject are: To evaluate the safety of the road alignment using the driving simulator. The evaluation course is: firstly, create the virtual road scene according to road alignment blueprint, after building up virtual scene on the driving simulator, via the virtual driving experiment to get the speed and side acceleration along the road. Then analysis the speed trail; speed standard side acceleration is it get speed and acceleration of side direction of road to go at fictitious road, analysis speed orbit , speed standard deviation and side acceleration standard deviation, variance and variance , side direction of acceleration, using the analysis result to evaluate the safety of the road alignment. Then compare the evaluation result with the accident, it indicate this evaluation result which based on the driving simulator is tally with the accident.The road safety evaluation method based on the road traffic driving simulator that bring forward by this article has put forward a kind of feasible evaluation method forthe safety appraisal. Using this evaluation method can carry on safety evaluation to the road whether it has built up or not.
