Due to disadvantages of traditional fuel cell such as short life,pollution to the environment and so on , the research on a new fuel cell seems to be an emergent solution to satisfy the needs of providing clean source for the development of modern society, and also the research on proton exchange membrane fuel cells plays an important part in it, because it has the virtue which is unmatched by many other traditional fuel cell. PEMFC has the advantages of clean without pollution, producing water after work, high efficiency for energy translation(up to 40%~60% in practice ),. steady working condition, short time for cool boot. The engine system of PEMFC is made up of. galvanic pile and auxiliary system. It is a key factor which the large wasted output of air supply system affects the engine's efficiency. Whether the air supply is sufficient or not will affect the temperature and life of galvanic pile and reaction rate of fuel and so on. So it is necessary for us to study the optimizing control of air supply system and it is a effective measure for us to design and optimize the control method though the model and simulation of the whole system. Main research content in the article as follow:Firstly, analyses the model of PEMFC and the model and research solutions of control of air supply system in PEMFC engine at present, introduces the work principle of PEMFC and system structure of engine and the method of system modeling of air supply system in PEMFC engine, and the model of PEMFC engine air supply system combines the modeling by mechanism with the modeling by neural network builds, including the models of negative electrode gas flow of fuel cell engine system,supply manifold, return manifold, simultaneously builds blower model of PEMFC engine air supply system based on neural network fitting.Designs the input simulation GUI,output GUI of PEMFC engine air supply system based on Matlab GUI, the next, using the software of Simulink to achieve the model of air supply system. And it validates the model's validity based on the experimental data of fuel cell, analyzes the changes of important parameters of air supply system and the influences of galvanic pile working.It presents the optimized PID control,sliding control,fuzzy PID control and so on three control proposals of balancing the gas pressure of air system based for the changes of operating power needing and the request of in time and full air supply when the electrochemistry reaction of galvanic pile is doing,studies the control simulation of the gas pressure based on the three control policies. Analyzes the relative merits of the three control policies of PEMFC air supply system.The studies of the article indicates that the fuzzy PID control of PEMFC engine air supply system has high control accuracy,control agility,good adaptability, comparing with PID controK sliding control gas pressure has shorter response time,less overshoot,good stability, gives a effective method to control PEMFC engine air supply system. to solve the question of right amount supply of PEMFC air supply system.
