| The development of the Expressway make people's live and production greatly convenient, produces a huge economic and social benefits and its traffic safety has become one of problems concerned by people. Expressway traffic safety is impacted by the people, vehicles,road and the driving environment, and other factors.Based on the above understanding of this situation, this paper analyzes the expressway driving environment and its impact on the expressway traffic safety from reality. The main study and conclusions are as follows:1. Several main factors impacting the expressway traffic safety, such as, the people, vehicles,road and the driving environment are analyzed. Although the proportion of the accident directly caused by environmental factors is not high, it could often urge or pick up the impact of the other three factors on the expressway traffic safety.2. About the daily natural phenomenon of the sharp changing of environment illumination at the dusk and dawn and the low visibility of night, the vision characteristics of the drivers at these driving environments, the relationship of the brightness contrast of the night and its backgrounds and the relationship and the relationship of the contrast of the night goal and the recognition and affirmance distance are analyzed.3. The impact of the visibility or the vision distance on the safe driving conditions of the car is analyzed, the safe driving speed and the no-collision speed with the obstacle are figured out.4.About the adverse impact of the fog on the expressway traffic safety, the main performance of the impact of fog on the traffic safety and the characteristics and the conditions of the formation of the expressway fog; the attenuation of the fog to the light and the visibility equation are analyzed.5. According to the equations related and the car's driving characteristics and the most adverse vertical slope of the road, safe limit speed under the several visibilities are figured out.This paper analyze the impact of driving environment on its traffic safety preliminarily, some conclusions from this paper will help further research, exploration and the development of the subject. |
