Most of the organization and management of urban logistics are completed in logistics nodes. Therefore, the layout planning of urban logistics node becomes one of the important issues in the study of urban logistics, and needs the guidance of systematical and scientific planning theories and methods.Based on the analyses of the existing research literature,the dissertation studies the methods of the layout planning of the urban logistics nodes theoretically and systematically. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the correlation theories of layout and planning of urban logistics nodes are discussed.Secondly, according to the Aggregate Analysis Theory in urban traffic planning, a"four steps"method is applied in logistics demand forecast,and the method and models are analyzed respectively in each step. Then the content and analyzing method of logistics survey are studied, on the base of the"four steps"forecasting method.Thirdly, commonly used location models are studied. Detailed analysis of selection methods of the logistics node options aggregation and evaluation index system is given in this section. For developing a comprehensive locating method in accordance with the"four steps"forecasting method, an AHP-entropy comprehensive evaluation model is applied in location optimization of logistics nodes in this section, and a location optimization model is established in order to minimize overall costs. Then according to the practice of city logistics planning, this paper discusses some commonly used methods of scale planning,and proposes a "two-step" method to determine the size of urban logistics nodes, which is trying to integrate the total nodes sizing with the individual node sizing. Ultimately, a set of practical theories and methods of layout planning of urban logistics nodes is formed.Finally, the application study is presented, which applied on the case of modern logistics development planning in Huaian city.
