The Research On The Relationship Between Sofa's Matched-colors And Person's Visual Feeling

The sofa belongs to sitting-furniture, the sofa is also the important component of spacial environment, the sole-color sofa already could not meet esthetic need on the people visual sense, sofa of different matched-colors has already occupied the suitable market share, obviously, the matched-colors in the sofa design is quite important.This topic research based on the human engineering, along with experimental psychology and correlated theories and knowledge, has utilized brain electric technology (EEG), exploring the first experimental study of sofa's matched-colors and person's visual feeling aspect in the furniture design domain of our country.The study contents and the results are as follows:(1) In the group characteristic of sofa matched-colors,â‘ The female displays higher excitement to the sofa color with the warm color as the dominant color; displays lower excitement to the sofa color with the cool color as the dominant color ;â‘¡But the male is just the opposite, is calm to the sofa color with the warm color as the dominant color, displays higher excitement to the sofa color with the cool color as the dominant color ;â‘¢Confronted with the matched-colors sofa with the gray tone of the black, the white, the gray of these three kinds as the dominant color, the men and women both displays higher excitement; And, in the matched-colors sofa with the gray tone of the black, the white, the gray these three kinds as the dominant color, the male is calm to the sofa color with the warm color as the subordinate color, displays higher excitement to the sofa color with the cool color as the subordinate color; the female is just the opposite.(2) With regard to the individual characteristic of color's feeling, the female's excitement difference which are related to the different colors is bigger; the male's excitement difference which relate to the different colors is smaller.(3) In the change tendency aspect of the color excitement, no obvious rule displayed, coupled with the subjects'subjective-appraisal-table, under many situations, the change tendency of the color excitement depend on the personal experience or the color taste of the subjects.(4) Carry on the experiments of visual feeling by EEG, the results of its subject-appraisal and the objective experiments are mainly consistent.
