The mass concrete was applied in hydraulic engineering at the earliest stage, but along with development of social economy level, the high-rise building and super high-rise building, long span bridge and large industrial building are more and more, mass concrete are already extensively applied in civil engineering. This paper introduces the development circumstance of mass concrete, the particularity of the mass concrete of the civil engineering, the Finite element method of temperature field and stress field, crack control measures of mass concrete on so on, on the research foundation of others. And also analyzes following problem by finite element software ANSYS: the temperature variety regulation of concrete hydration heat along with structure thickness; the influences of construction layer by layer on hydration heat temperature rise of mass concrete; analysis of mass concrete internal temperature field; the influences of constraint condition of foundation on temperature stress of building foundation; simulation analysis calculation of pile cap of Yun Long bridge; simulation analysis calculation of raft foundation of high-rise building. By the analysis research on the above contents, can draw some conclusions: the thickness of concrete planks are more big, the hydration heat temperature rise of mass concrete will be more high and appear time of the biggest temperature will be more late; the construction layer by layer can effectively lower temperature rise, lower the differences of internal and external, and control crack appear. Center district temperature of mass concrete are the tallest. Nodes close to surface temperature are lower but the temperature gradient are very large. The ratio of volume and surface of mass concrete structures are more large, temperature rise will be more large. Put forward calculation formula of the biggest temperature rise, under the certain condition and auto-variables is ratio of volume and surface. The constraint condition of foundation can directly affect the value of temperature stress. Establishing a slip layer on the foundation, letting up constraint condition of ground to foundation, can reduce the temperature stress of mass concrete. By the analysis of project example, this paper has discussed the crack control measure in the project, and provide suggestions to construction site.
