MACS system is fourth-generation distributed control system which combination computer technology, network technology, application software and signal processing technology, and other international advanced technology.Based on Jinjiang Power Plant 2×260 t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler with 2×50MW generating units project, According to the engineering characteristics and requirements of the project, the thesis describes the MACS system configuration, design and implementation of boiler, steam turbine, furnace protection and control software.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part of the thesis describes the background on issues, including the latest development and technical features of distributed control system. The second part introduces MACS, including system architecture and feature. The third part describes MACS design for the feature and requirement of the project, including units hardware, software configuration design, I/O measurement point, reliability design analysis and performance calculation. The fourth part describes the detail design which focuses on the boiler control system, furnace protection control system, steam turbine control system and control software based on the engineering design. The fifth part analysis the application value of the project and evaluates the effect of the design.
