With the rapid speed development of national economy,more and more high-voltage AC motor are applied in every field of our life。The start of high power rating motor will generate high current surge,which will reduce the safety of the motor and drop the voltage of electric power pool。Soft starter is developed from the technology of modern power electronics。It is an effective device to reduce starting current and improve the performance of starting motor。On the basis of induction motor equivalent circuit of T model,some starting methods of high voltage AC motor were introduced in this paper。Magnetic-controlled in soft starting AC motor is superiority in the reliability,stability and price,so a soft starter using of SR(saturable Reactor) with low price and high performance was designed in the paper。The soft starter of the SR with its module,include the design of hardware and software was mentioned in the article。Based on the single chip of MSP430FE427 is presented in this paper,the function is provided by hardware with the flow chart of software。The simulation model of the system is built by MATLAB (SIMULINK)。The direct staring system and the soft start of SR control system is simulated。The result showed that the soft starter can reduce current surge effectively with precision calculate and controlled by MSP430FE427。The functions of the voltage-slope start, the soft-stop with self check and distinguish three-phase is provided by the controller, it is very simple and convenient to use。...
