The designing methods of Cryogenic Loop Heat Pipe system was analysed in detailed. One sample of the Cryogenic Loop Heat Pipe was constructed. The dimension of every component will be shown in this paper.every part of performance was tested for this system, including the characteristics of the start-up, the periodic change of heat load, the abrupt change of heat load and the maxim heat load. The analysis and experiments on the characteristics of the start-up were made especially. The results of experiments indicated that the whole system can start-up successfully, and the second loop acts very important action in the start-up process. The whole system performences stably on the condition of abrupt change of heat load and periodic change of heat load, and the porous wick was not dried. The running performance curves in different conditions will be shown in the paper.
