| By the oretical calculation and analyses in conjunction with engineering experiments, the present paper discusses the necessity and urgency of developing the projects with a missile as the background. A series of important jobs have been completed, which include the scheme proof, selection, and optimization of launch motors, structure and grain-loading design, heat-proof and strength calculation, internal ballistic calculation, experimental tests of motor structure and internal ballistics. This paper proposes the key techniques and measures for launch motor design, and experimental validation tests were conducted. The results further prove the feasible methodology and reasonable design, which meet the general technical needs. It is also found that the design with phenolic resin as the grate is feasible and both two materials for motor nozzles can meet the demands. The stable performance of motor ballistics satisfies general demands. |
