Traditional rectifier is used diode rectifier or SCR Phased rectifier, the AC of the low power factor and harmonic content of the power grid, therefore, to conduct Power Factor Correction. Single-phase Power Factor Correction technology is the development of relatively mature. With the development of power electronics technology, power electronic devices to the growing power, making three-phase power factor correction technology of a more rapid development,But high-power applications for the high efficiency, low-cost options are still studying, there has been no fundamental breakthroughs and practical three-phase power factor correction technology is still a hot research topic. This paper studies a three-phase current mode power factor correction circuit, based on SCR phased rectifier ,increase of Buck chopper controlled by PWM pulse width modulation strategy , the rectifier circuit has the advantage of high power factor and low harmonic content. This paper analysis of the working principle of the topology circuit, based on the establishment of the switching function of the circuit mathematical model, analysis of the circuit PWM modulation principles and IGBT trigger pulse realization process. Studied the main circuit design parameters, design of 31.25 KW PWM current-mode rectifier component parameters, design of the correction circuit of control system parameters, and built a system of the circuit simulation model. The simulation results show that the circuit makes three-phase current waveform reaching sinusoidal waveform, power factor correction close to 1. Finally, the design of DSP-based power control system and the protection circuit. The results show that the circuit can be realized three-phase power factor correction, and the circuit is simple in structure, easy to control, low-cost, suitable for high power applications.
