Micro-lenses with high resolution for TV were designed in view of the increasing need of industry produce and security detectionFirstly, the present research status of TV micro-lens designation was reviewed briefly. Also the shortages and limitations of TV micro-lens at home were pointed out.The different aspects for TV micro-lens designation are especially investigated in this thesis. At first, the imaging theory of TV micro-lens was compare with that of microscope. Then the designation method and production technology for TV Micro-lens were discussed in detail. The optical design software—ZEMAX was used to design two TV micro-lenses with the magnification of 1×and 0.25×, respectively. The resolution of the two TV micro-lenses has achieved to be 2.0 Mega pixels and has been greatly improved compared with that of the initial configuration. Furthermore, AutoCAD software was utilized to design and plot the structures of the two TV micro-lenses.Finally, the optical design software ZEMAX was used to design an aspheric surface lens with the optical magnification of 1×, based on the aspheric theory.
