As a kind of secondary disasters caused by strong earthquakes, the earthquake-induced landslide has drawn much attention in the world because of severe hazards it causes. In southwest China, due to its complex geological and geographical conditions, many strong earthquake have occurred. Yu-meng railway is in strong earthquake region(8 degree) ,where a lot of sheet-pile retaining walls are used. Combing with "Test Study of Expansive Soil Cutting Retaining Structure in Strong Earthquake Region",this paper studies the structure of sheet-pile retaining wall under earthquake.In this paper ,the research status of the slope under earthquake and the pile-soil dynamic interaction is summed up. The review of landslide thrust distribution research is presented. According to the deformation compatible theory, the pile and the cable are taken into account as a whole, and the calculating formulas of cable tension and pile's internal force are given. Applying free-field boundary around the model, quiet boundary to the bottom, taking stress history as dynamic input ,local damping as the model's damping, the dynamic calculating method of FLAC3D is determined based on these. Taking Yu-meng railway as the engineering background, the 3-D model of sheet-pile retaining wall is established based on FLAC3D. The earthquake wave is inputted from the rock, then carry on the dynamic time history analysis on the pile and the landslide body, researching the earth pressure and the displacement of pile under earthquake, the earth pressure and the displacement of pile under different earthquake magnitudes, the earth pressure and the displacement of pile when using cable or not, the earth pressure and the displacement of pile when decreasing the strength of expansive soil.Based on above-mentioned researches, some laws about the earth pressure, the acceleration and the displacement of pile are gotten, which is valuable to the seismic design of sheet-pile retaining wall.
