In the construction of Kunming-Hekou railway in Mengzi region, the route is in strong earthquake region (8 degree), where a lot of sheet-pile retaining walls are used. Due to its complex geological and geographical conditions, many strong earthquakes have occurred frequently. Sheet-pile retaining wall develops from anti-slide pile. Sheet-pile retaining wall can be used to support cut slope and embankment in normal areas, inundated areas and earthquake areas, as well as landslide areas. Combing with "Test Study of Special Roadbed Construction in Yu-meng Strong Earthquake Region", this paper studies the structure of sheet-pile retaining wall under seisimic forces.In this paper, the research status of sheet-pile retaining wall structure is summed up and slope stability under earthquake at home and abroad is presented. Taking Yu-meng railway DK99+659 as the engineering background, the 3-D model of sheet-pile retaining wall is established based on FLAC3D. First, compare the earth pressure and the displacement of pile before and after using the geogrids under static behavior. Second, input the El Centro earthquake wave from the bottom and carry on the dynamic time history analysis on the pile and the landslide body so as to research the earth pressure and the displacement of pile under 0.20g earthquake. Finally, compare the aseismic stability of sheet-pile on different operating conditions. Some laws about the earth pressure and the displacement of pile are obtained by changing pile spacing under different seisimic force, which is valuable to the aseismic design of sheet-pile retaining wall.It is indicated that sheet-pile retaining wall structure is safe both under static behavior and 0.20g earthquake. As a result of the combined effects of reinforcement strip and soil, the stess and the displacement of anti-slide pile can be reinforced effectively. Increasing the pile spacing to 7m, the stress and the displacement of anti-slide pile also increase and sheet-pile retaining wall structure is safe both under 0.20g and 0.40g earthquake. In short, the stability of sheet-pile retaining wall structure can be increased after using the geogrid. Also, it meets the seismic design requirement in Kunming-Hekou railway in seismic 8 degrees.
