The soda residue, industry waste, comes with pure soda in the ammonia-soda process. The alkali residue occupied a great deal of land, and polluted environment seriously, so reused resourceses the alkali residue to used for industry production, change to discard for the treasure, have the obvious social performance and economic performance, foreground amplitude. Currently, the soda residue and its blends which treated as foundation soil in the filling in engineering have already used to fill the low-lying and damp region largely. In the precious research and application, though indoor experiment we have already known some properties of the alkali residue, but to bearing capacity of pure alkali residue , particularly the soda residue with the high water contain is unclear.The text introduced the status quo of utilization firstly,and analyzed the problem of soda residua that exist in engineering. I conformed the changing regulation of water content along with the increasing of tedding time, then carried on the loading test of alkali residue with different water contain that came from No.6 field. Drawing up the data of the fast method with the method of minimum square I get slow method data, which make result more accurate. I made sure the bearing capacity of the alkali residue with the different method on basis of data of loading test, and then combining with the results of triaxial test and unconfined compression test choose the relatively most reasonable method, so the soda residue could be used under different condition. The research of this problem will expand the application of the alkali residue, make industrial wastes resouced, decrease pollution and save a lot of project costs, so it is significant sense.The text analyzed the property of the filled and rolled soda residue with different water content systematicly, and found out the changing regulation and the influencing factor of bearing capacity, and confine the deformation modulus of alkali from the measurement curve. Through the indoor soil experiment, I study the strength and deformation of pure alkali residue in front and after loading test. Compare with the result from the indoor soil experiment. I analyze the different character between the filled-rolled alkali residue and original soda residue in the analysis.That is direction to engineering application of the alkali residue.
