With the development of science, Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) is widely applied in medicine field. The demand for the Minimally Invasive Surgical Trainer-Virtual Reality (MIST-VR) is more urgent, and it is inevitable that we research and exploit this system with the appearance of Virtual Reality. This thesis aims at designing and researching the MIST-VR. There are three parts in the paper including the mechanism design of the trainer, the data acquisition system and the questing for the digit driving of the model of Virtual Reality by using OpenGL .The specific contents are as follows:Firstly, based on the total analysis of MIS, we established the structure of the training system .It deals with the analysis and confirmation of schemes and the choice of the sensors. We designed the structure model of operating mechanism by using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and created a hardware platform for Virtual Reality System.Secondly, in order to provide the valid data for Minimally Invasive Surgery System with Virtual Reality Technology, we designed specially a data acquisition system. It includes the hardware design and the interface design of data acquisition system. After this system collects the spatial location data of surgery apparatus on real time, we can determine the wandering trace and position of the model in virtual environment.Using Visual C++ language and the DLL (Dynamic Link Library) provided by PCI-1711L, we exploited the data interface which can adapt to the control parts.Lastly, based on PC-VR and the software platform of MIS, we compiled the interface programme by using the C++ language and OpenGL, and then we can transfer the data from data interface to manipulate the Virtual Reality System. The achievements of this thesis will benefit the popularization of Minimal Invasive Surgery and improvements of medical level, which conforms to the tendency of combining modern computer science with medicine.
