With the superiority of high PER(Primary Energy Ratio), the ability of adjusting the imbalance of electricity and benefiting the environment protection, etc., GEHP is arousing more and more public concern. But the vibration and noise of GEHP is so serious that greatly limit its application and popularization in China. As the development of the environment protection consciousness of people, the noise pollution can't be ignored any more, we must spend much time and energy to control and prevent.However, the research on how to control the noise of GEHP is insufficient at present , so it's necessary to make a special research on this subject, and present a reasonable solution.Spectrum analysis and identification of the noise source are two important parts of the noise control. In order to know the noise level and the spectrum feature of GEHP, the noise field measurement should be done by experiment.Because of the limitation of the experiment,we can't obtain the whole field of the noise distribution. To solve this problem, we use the professional software RAYNOISE to simulate the noise field and predict the effect of the solution.GEHP is an integrated noise source made of different characteristic noises, in the frequency domain, the sound signal characteristics is broadband and the maximum peak occurs at the frequency 500~2000Hz. The noise includes the intake and exhaust noise, mechanical noise, combustion noise, the noise arosed by vibration and the noise brought by other running parts, etc., but the main noise source is the noise of engine. When the engine ran at different rotational speed(1080r/m,1150r/m,1250r/m and 1350r/m), the average sound pressure level is 90.7 dB(A),92.0 dB(A),93.3 dB(A) and 94.7 dB(A). According to the characteristic of the GEHP, we put forward the design scheme of a assembly type sound insulation enclosure for the GEHP. This sound insulation enclosure utilizes many measures comprehensively to reduce noise, and the materials of the insulation panels are high technology materials in order to meet the requirements.
