The application of the pumped loading system of emulsion explosive is the advanced technology on tunnel blasting construction in the world at present. This system has the advantage of adjustable explosive power, higher security, outstanding explosive loading quality, faster loading speed, better working conditions and precise explosive loading. The pumped explosive loading equipment developed by Orica company of Australia is in front of other countries. In order to apply this technology in China tunnel construction, the blasting experiment on the pumped explosive loading technology of emulsion explosive in Jinan Kaiyuan Temple is carried out by Orica company, Beijing Tiefeng Blasting company and the Third Engineering Group Co., Ltd of China Railway. According to the blasting experiment, the following work is conducted in this thesis.1 The basic structure, component and the preparation process are introduced. The theory and the related technology indexes of the pumped explosive loading technology of emulsion explosive are explained.2 The blasting experiment on the pumped explosive loading technology of emulsion explosive in Jinan Kaiyuan Temple is performed. The quantity of blasting footage and the blasting equipment is e examined, and the shock absorption effect is tested. The difficult problems are solved in the experiment and the experiment results are evaluated.3 The cost of explosive loading with manpower and with pump equipment is analyzed and the compared result is presented. The cost of pumped explosive loading system of emulsion explosive in conventional situation is forecasted on the basis of the analysis results.
