Curved continuous concrete box girder bridge with single-supported pile, SPCCCBG bridge, is widely used in freeway project, trestle bridge and crossroads bridge. But design of SPCCCBG bridge is very complicated and parameters of it are always selected by referring to the existing bridges or by experimentation or by trially calculating. So the design workload is very large. In the recent years, many problems occurred in SPCCCBG bridge. So it is very important to ensure the running function through proper design and construction.Simplified calculating mathods of concrete box girder temperature field in different codes are compared. Internal force and deflection under temperature load is studied based on plane deformation theory of curved bridges. Finite element method is used in the analysis of the following problems: character of temperature load and effective measures for reducing temperature effect, effect of transverse temperature grads and influence of friction stability, reason of grabble along the radus of SPCCCB bridge under temperature load。Further more, the principle of bearing placement and measures of preventing curved girder from grabble are proposed.Structural effection of centrifugal of bearing is analysed, aiming at bearing type and character of SPCCCB bridge, and structural measures are proposed to improve structure torsional resistance.Autooscillation character is a primary index for estimating bridge running condition and load character. Calculating precision of several finite elements, beam element, shell element, and solid element, are compared. And proper element is chosen in analysing the influence of radius of curvature and span number on autooscillation character. Impact factor of curved bridge is also studied.
