With the development and needs of urban traffic,curved girder bridge has been widely applied in highway construction and urban overpass construction due to its economy and practicability,because curved girder bridge can adapt to mountainous terrain, it are often used in the mountains. But rigidity and mass distribution of curved girder bridge is irregular due to its own special linear, it is often severely damaged or even collapse in the earthquake.In this paper, we take two curved continuous bridge as the research object, studied its dynamic characteristics and seismic response characteristics in response spectrum analysis theory and time history analysis theory,then studied the effect of seven kinds of bearing arrangement scheme on seismic response of curved girder bridges, finally, the most reasonable scheme is given. The research contents are as follows:1. This paper introduces the project profile of the bridge and the actual result of damage to bridges by earthquake, then describes the calculation method and Simulation of pile soil structure interaction, then we study the influence of curvature radius, pile-soil interaction and bearing arrangement on the low-level vibration characteristics of the bridge and find the variation law.2. Based on response spectrum methods, it mainly studied the variation law of the displacement and the internal forces of the bridge in different Seismic excitation angle, curvature radius and bearing arrangement for the earthquake response, moreover all models of the instance bridge have taken into account the nonlinear characteristics of bearings unit and piers unit, and the actual seismic damage of the instance bridge is analyzed as the evaluation index.3. Based on the instance bridge, we established some bridge models with different bearing arrangement including four tradition bearing form and three new bearing form and carried out nonlinear time history analysis on them in order to studying the variation law of the structural displacement, internal force of the structure, relative deformation of bearing and plastic deformation of bridge pier for the earthquake response, moreover all models of the instance bridge have taken into account the nonlinear characteristics of bearings and piers unit.According to the law obtained by the numerical analysis, some useful suggestions are put forward about the reasonable design parameters and reasonable economic bearing arrangement for the seismic design of multi span curved continuous box girder bridges.
