This thesis is part of the research project"The Safeguard Technology Research for Environment Quality of Urban Underground Spatial", supported by the key project of"The Eleventh Five"National Scientific Technology Support Items under the contract No. 2006BAJ27B03.Subway station was an important construction which has large proportion in subway investment. More attention had been paid to the environment design of the subway station. Temperature and velocity of air has great effect on human comfort and cost of environment control. To build good subway environment meant not only to provide a safe and comfortable environment but also to reduce energy consumption and environment protection. The ventilation system of subway was one of the key techniques in different environment control in the subway, especially in the cold climate zone, e.g. in Harbin. A new novel ventilation system for winter and summer was put forward based on the analysis of the heat distribution at the subway station in Harbin. In this paper, a three dimensional geometrical model of the subway station was built. Simulations for the ventilation system were performed to clarify the conditions of the temperature fields. A scientific analysis was carried out and the simulated results indicated that the temperature of the station was acceptable and the novel ventilation system suggested was a promising way to save energy and protect environment. In the island platform, the piston wind had great impact to the diffusion of the air flow and the comfort of people. The technology of dynamic meshes was used to study the air flow alteration with the train moving, the changes of piston wind was discussed and the disciplinarian of the air flow alteration was concluded.Harbin was the coldest city with the highest attitude in our country, the study method and the analysis result provided references to the subway construction in the high latitude cities of our country.
