Host Computer System For Train Wheel Flange Auto Detection

The flange shape of train wheels is of great importance to the traffic of trains, tiny windage may cause heavy accident. Recent years, the train speed is gradual increasing, the abrasion is fast, and the overhaul cycle is shortened. The traditional measuring method rely on manual,inefficient, the error is big, and could not meet the demand. Therefore, the development of an online flange automatic detection system is of great realists.This paper described the train flange online PC Detection System Design and Implementation. Mainly covers the following areas:First introduced the subject background and purpose of the study, the train flange detection technology development at home and abroad, on the basis of summarizing the flange detection technology at home and abroad, design a new detection method, use the laser displacement sensor as the data acquisition equipment to compose the under-machine system;Described the flange detection principle, the basic detection system structure, including under-loom system and the upper loom, and the work process;Host Computer System Design and Implementation, which is the focus of this paper. According to the design requirements, the overall design scheme, then according to the modular design method, divide the detection system into several modular, including: data accept ion module, data processing module, data storing module and the main program modules, put forward solutions according to the difficulties.Host Computer System test: in the design process, tests the system on each step, then design a under-loom system simulation software to test the host computer system, includes the data accept ion, processing module, Finally, test the system on the working field, and certify the detection system is reliable.We use C++ Builder 6 Rapid Application Development RAD as the development environment.
