Recently high voltage DC power supplies are widely used in many new technologies.With the advancement of power switching developmentAn input DC 48V, output 10kV, high voltage capacitor charging power supply is designed in this paper. Firstly, according to the requirements of high voltage power supply used for charging capacitors with constant current, the Series Resonant Converter (SRC) was chosen as the main circuit frame. The dynamic process of SRC was discussed by using mathematical analyses and numeric simulation to study the operational Characteristics, the effects of parameters of resonant circuit on them and the relationship between switching frequency and output power, which provided the bases of designing the power supply.Secondly, considering the features of high voltage transformer and the difficulties to make it, a reasonable design scheme with series structure was proposed, which efficiently reduced negative influence of distributing parameters of transformer on switching power supply, could completely utilize leakage inductance as resonant inductance and alleviated the difficulties of transformer's design.At last, the control and drive circuit designed by myself was introduced, in which Zero Current Switching (ZCS) had been realized. in order to realize the long-instance control to the power supply, CAN BUS and singlechip were used. And electrified circuit and voltage comparer ensured the power supply to work safely and reliably.By simulation and experiment, the power supply designed in this paper could work safely, reliably and steadily, which fully meets the design requirement.
