Preliminary Study Of Leisure Constrains In Urban Park

Lots of city dwellers' outdoor leisure activities are taken in the Urban Parks. Urban Parks face great challenges while the developing of leisure. Many old parks can't meet the various leisure needs, rehabilitation and rebuild are needed. And in order to face the dwellers' needs, many new parks are needed. There comes the question: How can we make the parks face the dwellers' needs perfectly, without making wastes of the resources?The theory and method of the leisure science were used in this study. The author chooses Leisure Constrains as the study object, discover the problems of urban park through the study of these constrains. The author chose the urban parks of WuHan as the examples, made much study of the dwellers' leisure behavior there. Constrains to leisure and the Function mechanisms were listed, and sorted by the type of leisure behaviors. The author still listed the problems root in the urban parks, opinions and suggestions as well.
