With the development of Chinese construction, increasing adjustable pile foundation is used great (weight) of building (structure) of construction. In this paper, based on the mechanism of a single pile loading, comparative analysis is done to the performance of variant section cast-in-situ piles and common cast-in-situ piles.First, the study for vertical load bearing behavior under the pile foundation is done by the numerical method. Calculation tools are large geotechnical engineering calculation software FLAC3D; In order to facilitate the calculation will be simplified model for the plane axsymmetric model. Assume that the concrete pile be in linear elasticity state, and its stress-strain relationship obey Hooke's law. The pile is the axial bearing capacity of the surface friction of the pile and pile head pile-bearing capacity of function, the surface friction Through the pile of clay between the wall and set up to simulate the interface, the interface of friction and cohesion of concrete and clay that is the friction between.The second, This study is adjustable pile through the pile on top of a pile of vertical speed to calculate the axial ultimate strength, and because the pile of clay between the stiffness vary greatly, so that slow speed, with speed through the progressive increase set to achieve the ultimate strength of the pile axis, and compared with the general pile. the superiority of the variant section cast-in-situ piles will be materialized after, looking into analysis results of the relation of pile load and sedimentation, and the comparison results of the vertical stress and displacement, the lateral friction resistance, the pile end resistance and the plastic zone, comparing to common cast-in-situ piles.Finally, the contrast between the variant section cast-in-place pile and the common cast-in-place pile is done, from static load test and engineering application, which explaines that the variant section cast-in-place pile has the characteristic like that the high supporting capacity, the small settlement, the reducing uneven settlement of the pile, the low construction cost of the unit force and so on, and brief narrates the social effect of the variant section cast-in-place pile.
