Because the conventional energies are limited and have pollution to the environment worse and worse, the utilization and development of renewable energies are at once. Wind power, as a green energy, has more and more attention been paid to, and the wind power technology is the most rapidly growing and used by business in recent years.the variable speed constant frequency (VSCF) doubly-fed wind induction generator (DFIG) is widely applied in large capacity interconnected running wind power system, compared with the general wind energy generation system, the DFIG wind is not only characterized by its small cubage, light weight and low cost, but also realizes flexible connection of mechanical-electric system, so the VSCF doubly-fed wind generator system and its control technology are studied in this paper.First, this paper analyzes the DFIG operation theory, including mathematic model of DFIG, coordinate transformation, DFIG operation characteristics and power relationship, the stator field orientation vector control is employed, which established the theoretical foundation for succeeding study.Then, predictive functional control (PFC) model for DFIG is proposed. An explicit control law is established through the predictive functions control mechanism with one base function (step function). Following the stator field orientation vector control model, the PFC is established for active power and reactive power of DFIG.Last, by the analysis of the theory and mathematic model, a variable speed constant frequency doubly-fed wind generator control system is designed and controlled by the TMS320F2407 digital signal processor (DSP), and a large number of experiments are done in this paper, the experiments results show that the design of control system is successful and rational.
