Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is an important means for enterprise to implement production management informationization. By implementing MES, enterprises can remarkably improve the production efficiency and quality as a result of achieving real-time tracking and visual management in manufacturing process. Due to the importance of MES in the production management, the MES for missile assembly manufactory and its production scheduling on the background of a military enterprise is studied in the thesis, focusing on system demand analysis, system integrated design, and real-time scheduling algorithm in MES. The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, the system demand of MES for missile assembly manufactory is analyzed in detail based on the theory of MES and a great deal of investigation and study of the military enterprise. The MES functional requirements of the assembly factory include: production scheduling, real time data acquisition, material tracking, quality control, tool management, equipment monitoring, and so on.Secondly, with the existing enterprise informationization, the MES solution for military assembly manufactory is proposed, and the system design technology which involved system architecture construction, development tools selection, database design and system integration technology are introduced.Thirdly, considering the insufficiency of current shop-floor scheduling, a heuristic algorithm based on bottleneck decomposition is proposed in order to solve the problem of real-time and dynamic scheduling in MES. Besides, an example is given to validate the effectiveness of the algorithm. Finally, the conclusions are drawn and the further research directions of MES and dynamic scheduling algorithm are pointed out.
