In China, number of existing bridges and planned bridges are tremendous, How to effectively taking care of these bridges becomes the focus of road maintenance and maintenance agency. Because cable-stayed bridge has many merits such as long span, light and beautiful structure, well air dynamical stability, single framework style and so on,it becomes the mostly bridge style in bridge construction. Cable is the main portion of cable-stayed bridge, which can transfer the most part of or the whole deadload and liveload to the bridge tower, so the cable is the main bearing framework, is the life cable of cable-stayed bridge,its endure will directly effect the bridge safety.Taking evaluation and control of cable fatigue as one module in the Bridge Management System, this will play a very important role in life of the whole bridge structure. Effective control module of cable fatigue can help bridge manager make a suitable decision and highly enhance the level of cable-stayed bridge management, this will be very important for endurance and safety of cable-stayed bridge.Objective of this dissertation is to study evaluation and control of cable fatigue in BMS.Specifically,studies are focused on following aspects:(1)Several domestic and oversea bridge management systems are introduced.(2)Through the development history of cable-stayed bridge, with its structural characteristics, and the use of functions and problems of disease such integrated describes, proposed to study on evaluation and control of cable fatigue in BMS.(3)Analyze and compare the research theory and methods of fatigue damage and life prediction, Specifically introduce"Rain-flow Method".(4)Aiming at the performance characteristic of cable in cable-stayed bridge,create a module for evaluation and control of cable fatigue in BMS, and make life prediction of fatigue problem for anchor area. Provide some selective advice for control of cable fatigue.
